I'm a UK based DJ with mixing experience spanning back to 1995 when i was hooked by dark and different sounds coming from the Orbit in Leeds and Voodoo in Liverpool. DJs such as Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Surgeon & Joey Beltram were delivering ground breaking sets that moved away from everything dance music was becoming. Since those days the natural progression to producer came in 1999.

Today i'm obsessed with the ever reducing lines between DJ and producer. During my sets I use a combination of technology, skill and music knowledge to mix unique sets that create a sound and atmosphere. I use Mixvibes (an alternative to final scratch), a laptop, effects units, samplers, turntables and a mixer to manipulate tracks and form sets with an original feel. By sampling i am able to physically change the dynamics of tracks quickly, effects units help to alter the sound as does scratching. Although this is all on the moment manipulation, Mixvibes allows me to cross further into the realms of producer. Using this technology I'm able to create tracks, loops and samples in the studio environment and then export them to your turntables.
